The International Legion for the Defence of Ukraine was established following the announcement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine on 27 February 2022 to all citizens of the world become part of armed resistance. Since that appeal, tens of thousands of foreign volunteers joined noble ranks of a new military formation. The legionnaires together with their Ukrainian brothers-in-arms courageously and fiercely fight the Russian invasion. Our resistance will not stop until Ukraine is liberated.
